NIPA HAUZ BEACH RESORT

Carabao Island was featured in Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho GMA 7.

Now I realize that this CARABAO ISLAND was the same place which my father brought me sometimes in the year 2005.

Being a lover of NATURE since then, I appreciate the beauty of that place were to my younger mind across different questions which if I will not ask somebody to verify the existence of that place how could I know the real CARABAO ISLAND as of today, especially the so-called NIPA HAUZ BEACH RESORT own and manage by MERELYN F. GONZAGA which located at Barangay Sinongtan, (CARABAO ISLAND) San Jose, Province of Romblon, Philippines.

Upon viewing to that Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho GMA 7 dated March 15, 2008 I was so eager to look once again that place which I cannot forgot the beauty within the vicinity likewise the hospitality of the owner MERELYN F. GONZAGA to us.

I ask my parents especially my father if we had again the chance to be in that place of NIPA HAUZ BEACH RESORT own and manage by MERELYN F. GONZAGA which located at Barangay Sinongtan, (CARABAO ISLAND) San Jose, Province of Romblon, Philippines.

Amazingly, I didn’t expected that my father will accompany me again to that place because of his heavy work as a journalist.

Upon arrival to this NIPA HAUZ BEACH RESORT own and manage by MERELYN F. GONZAGA which located at Barangay Sinongtan, (CARABAO ISLAND) San Jose, Province of Romblon, Philippines, I could not believe for what I’ve seen.

All the buildings are unique, the roof top is made from anahaw leaves, and every division is covered by “SAWALI” or “BAMBOO SLICE”, and the lumber use are CAMAGONG which added beauty for every room.

The surroundings especially the BEACH are very clean, you can breath fully well.

As a result, I told to my father that if possible this coming vacation, I will coming back to experience the same.

Lastly, being a LOVER OF NATURE, I hope that you’ll experience the same.
Why not visit the place?

Cathedral Cave - Carabao Island Philippines

Location: The northern end of Carabao Island.

Access: 1 hr 20 min north by boat

Conditions: One would make this journey only in good conditions, but there can be a strong current. Visibility can reach 80 ft.

Average depth: 115 ft

Maximum depth: 130 ft

This is a very big cave with a large entrance, so, apart from the depth, it is safe for novice divers. At the back of the cave there are many cracks and fissures which often contain sleeping big fish, including Whitetip Reef Sharks. There is good fish life, and there is the chance you will see some large pelagic species.

To date, the age of this ACACIA TREE as viewed, could be considered, more or less TEN YEARS.

If another TEN YEARS could be added and more TEN YEARS will come to reality, how could I, being NILDA by my name, the LOVER of MOTHER EARTH, protect that ACACIA TREE which are now diminish extensively due to cruelty and arrogance of HUMAN BEING.

If by chance this ACACIA TREE would live for FIFTY YEARS, it means that I am SIXTY YEARS of age above.

At my younger age today, it is just a foresight of what the FUTURE MAYBE?

Perhaps, one of the viewer of this, would come to realize even though that you are far from us, but within your mind, your heart, still exist the LOVE to our DEAR MOTHER EARTH.

Then, YOU and I, will across tremendous pressure within US, first before WE ACHIEVE the reality.

The FUTURE is as STAKES for as long as YOU and I will not participate in this STRUGGLE.

I do SOLEMNLY SWEAR TO YOU, that I will DEVOTEDLY LOVE the MOTHER EARTH, as I DO BELIEVE that YOU will be on my side to go along and be with in these MOTHER EARTH. It is because GOD the FATHER is always within US to PROTECT.

Lovingly yours,
